Victoria's Secret Eau So Sexy

Who can resist a trip into Victoria's Secret!? Not me that's for sure, the store is like a treasure trove, and if I'm not careful I could easily spend a small fortune. On a recent trip I came across this cute set, 'Eau So Sexy'. In my never ending quest to become an angel, it was straight to the till.

I was already sold on the stunning pink and black packaging, with the pretty bow detail and heart decal. Instagram Perfection. Obviously though, what really sold me was the scent!

The fragrance is a light fruity mist with a sexy warmth to it. It's such a feminine scent with notes of bergamot, paradise apple and Chantilly cream. I think the addition of the Chantilly cream makes the mist so much more than your average fruity mist.

As you can see by how much I've already used before reviewing it, it's definitely one of my favourite scents that they do!

I picked up the gift set just because who wouldn't want to smell doubly delicious? The spray itself gives a light, sheer fragrance, so to get the scent to be more long lasting I would suggest layering it with the lotion too.

It will be the perfect scent for spring and summer this year, though I might need another bottle before then with how quickly I'm getting through it!

Weekend Vibes

|Coat - H&M | Dress - Primark | Boots - New Look | Scarf - Primark | Bag - Kurt Geiger |

Hello Lovelies, is it just me, or is everyone else fed up with this dreary weather!? I've had enough of bundling up against the icy winds, and battling the rain every time I need to leave the house. That being said, last Sunday we pottered out for the day, and despite the weather being freezing I wore a dress! I know what you may be thinking, but I just loved the print so much, and I think it looked pretty paired with my knee length boots.

I picked up this cute high neck, daisy print, dress from Primark for around £13! I originally thought it would look great in summer, with tan sandals, a slouchy tan bag, red lips and a messy bun. Then the prospect of making it more winter worthy popped into my head, so I layered it with dark brown knee length boots, thick tights, a navy cardigan and my long line black coat. I really like how the outfit turned out. Though I won't say it was hugely warm it was worth it as I just couldn't wait to wear my new purchase, you know how it feels I'm sure!

Are you ready for some warmer weather?

How We Spent Valentine's Day

I thought I would share with you a sneaky peak into how we spent Valentine's this year. I love writing these type of posts, as they are such fun to look back on in months/years to come. The day started as every day should, with breakfast in bed! We had creamy vanilla yogurt with juicy fresh fruit and buttery croissants, and lots of orange juice to wash it down with.

We relaxed and made the most of it, pondering and reminiscing, getting excited about the fact that next year we will be spending Valentine's as Husband and Wife. Which I'm especially looking forward to, do you know how hard it is to find a nice FiancĂ© card?! The struggle is real.

We finally managed to prise ourselves away, we got up and dressed for the day. We decided to head off to beautiful Buxton for a day of exploring. We vowed that we would explore more of our local area and country this year, I have plenty of places both countryside and cities on my list, and I intend on ticking them off one weekend at a time!

It may appear a beautiful bright sunny day, but by the last picture you can see it was actually freezing cold and very windy! At one point we even had some snow. The views and rolling hills were glorious, and romantic to walk through.

We even took a trip down and inside Poole's Cavern, the caves were so awe-inspiring, like a whole other world. I would highly recommend a visit if you are ever in the Buxton area. After filling our lungs with fresh country air, the Mr treated me to Afternoon tea at the stunning No 6 The Square. A quaint, cosy tea room just across from the Pavilion.

All the tables had a fresh rose on them, and the surroundings oozed elegance.

When the glittering platter was set before us, my mouth instantly started watering. There were mini sandwiches - cream cheese, salmon and ham. Then two succulent, large cherry scones with lashings of cream and jam. Then the final tier, my favourite, was all the cakes! From a pink glittery macaroon filled with hazelnut chocolate, to a spicy carrot cake. It's fair to say we were stuffed by the time we finished! We polished off our teas before heading back to the car, and setting off home.

How did you spend your Valentine's?

Ted Baker Make-Up Brush Set | Review

My fiancĂ© got me these gorgeous brushes as part of my Christmas present. Like all of Ted Bakers accessories, the packaging is stunning, I love the baby pink and rose gold design.

The set comes with four brushes; an eye shadow brush, foundation brush, powder brush and an eyebrow brush. I think this is the perfect variety for a travel set, but the only thing I would say that I miss, is a blusher brush.

All of the brushes are incredibly soft, but still manage to pick up the product well, with minimal fall out. This made applying my make-up really easy. They don't irritate the skin and so far have kept there shape.

What I really love about this set is the handy travel case, I like going on weekends away and city breaks, and this is the perfect travel addition. Having a brush case means that its easy to find all my brushes in one place, and it also keeps my case clean and tidy! The material is not only a stunning baby pink, with a floral lilac design inside, but it's also wipe able! If your anything like me I always manage to get foundation somewhere, I don't even know how! So this makes it super easy to keep your products clean and tidy with minimal effort needed.

Overall, I am really impressed with these brushes, they do the job perfectly, and look pretty too!

Valentine's Lacy Lingerie & Self-Love |*

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and who said it had to just be about treating your other half?! After all, who needs a reason to Treat Yourself? This Valentine's day splash out on yourself; indulge in a luxury bubble bath, with a glass of champers of course, binge watch Netflix eating a tub of Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough, Don your sexiest underwear, and relax in style. All in the name of Self-love, because your a sassy queen who deserves a pamper.

I love to wear pretty lingerie, it's one thing that really makes me feel good about myself! I like to wear them underneath chunky knitted jumpers or pretty sheer tops. There's no better feeling. This pretty, white, lace bra* from Boohoo is simply stunning, and fits like a dream. I love the long line lace detail, it gives the bra a very feminine feel - as well as providing excellent support!

We all know that as soon as Christmas is over, the shops are full of hearts and chocolates. it's unavoidable. So I say instead of shying away from it this year, let's embrace it! After the January blues, Valentine's day could be seen as the perfect pick me up.  As someone who struggled with self-confidence for quite a few years, I can vouch for how important self-love is. It's something that we all should do, after all we deserve it right? So let's celebrate self love this year, and treat ourselves to something that makes us feel good!

Get The Look | Cara Delevigne

As soon as I saw the images of Cara on the FRow at Chanel's Couture Show I knew I wanted to re-create it. I'm an avid wearer of a dark vampy lip, and loved how clean and glamorous she looked. It is the perfect look for this time of year, it can even be worn on casual days, with a cream knitted jumper and ripped bleach wash jeans.

The one struggle I had with re-creating this look is that Cara has such beautiful, flawless skin. She probably doesn't need a heavy make-up base. Me on the other hand, my skin has a very pink/red tone to it and I do suffer from break outs. In order to get that 'flawless' look, I used Benefit's Pore Professional as a primer, and then Estee Lauder's Double Wear in 'Cool Bone'. I applied this using my fingers as I find that it keeps the product warm, and much easier to blend.

I then used Collection's Concealer in Shade 1, the lightest shade, and applied it under my eyes and on any red areas that needed more coverage. Afterwards I gave myself a slight contour to mimic Cara's gorgeous bone structure, I used Benefit's Hoola Bronzer to do so.

I finished the base with a tiny hint of mauve blusher, Cara doesn't appear to be wearing blusher in the photo, however, I find it gives my face more dimension.

For her eye make-up, Cara kept it very simple. No eyeliner, just a stunning peach toned shimmer for eye shadow and a thin coat of mascara. This kept the look very fresh despite the dark lip. In order to achieve a similar look I used Urban Decay's Gwen Stefani Palette. I used the shade 'Blonde', a light creamy tone, in the corners of my eyes and under the brown bone to create a natural looking highlight. I then used 'Baby' all over the lid, which is a mid-tone peachy champagne colour, which I gave some definition to by using 'Steady' in the crease, which is a more warm toned peachy orange. To finish I took 'Punk' on an angled brush and lined the outer lower lash line.

I then applied a thin coat of Catrice Jet Lash mascara, in Black, on both the top and bottom lashes. I also attempted to fill in my brows Cara style using Catrice Eyebrow Stylist, however, in all honesty, mine are in definite need of some TLC, and are certainly not eyebrows on fleek!

For the lipstick, I have been trying out a new range called Freedom. The option I went for is a lovely deep burgundy, and very similar to the shade that Cara was wearing. The lipstick has a glossy sheen to it and is very long lasting, meaning it would be perfect for day and night wear.

I really enjoyed re-creating this look, it's definitely something I would sport myself on a daily basis, and I look forward to hearing what you think!
