A Neutral Spring Outfit

Whole Outfit - Peacocks | Bag - Kurt Geiger

I put together this outfit for a very special day, we were meeting our wedding photographer to take our engagement photos! I was so excited, I decided that I wanted to wear timeless colours, that are very neutral and complimentary to our surroundings. Which I know sounds like a lot of work just for some photos, but I really want to get some of them printed off, so when we finally get our house I have some proper photos of us to put up, and not just our selfies!

It was fairly chilly, though the sun did try to make an appearance. I wanted to be warm, but not covered up by a coat so I opted for a cream roll neck jumper, roll necks are staples in my wardrobe at the minute. I'm not a fan of thick knits so choose high necklines instead to keep in the warmth.

Over the top I wore a light beige, sleeveless jacket. I really love the light weight material of this jacket, as well as the flattering, waterfall style neckline. It really adds some texture to the outfit.

To finish off the look I wore some light khaki jeans. I think the khaki really compliments the cream and light beige in the outfit, but also gives it a subtle pop of colour. All I need now is some proper spring weather, it's currently pouring with rain and trying to snow. Where are you Sunshine?

What colour theme will you be opting for this spring?
